1. If you’re wondering why the Nasdaq continues to break records for fun, you need look no further than Alphabet’s (GOOG) latest market cap of $1.02 trillion. The tech-heavy index closed up 2.2% on Monday as the Google-parent company breached the milestone for the first time since January 2020, joining Big Tech rivals Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), and Microsoft (MSFT). Elsewhere, the Dow Jones (DIA) and S&P 500 (VOO) finished 1.8% and 1.6% higher, giving the latter a five-day winning streak — its longest since December 2019. Read the full story here.

2. On its never-ending path towards world-domination, Amazon also soared 5.77% on Monday to rise above $3,000 per share for the first time ever — it closed at $3,057.04. This surge also brings its market cap past $1.5 trillion where it now sits a ‘measly’ $10 billion below Apple and Microsoft’s own valuations. That brings the mega-cap company’s total gains for 2020 to more than 61% as it makes the most of the pandemic-driven growth of e-commerce. Get the complete report here.

3. Is it time to start talking about adding Tesla (TSLA) to the ‘Big Tech’ group chat, because Monday’s 13.5% stock gain brings its market cap to more than $254 billion — roughly $37 billion more than Netflix (NFLX). Monday’s gains represented Tesla’s fourth-straight record close, bringing its total gains in the past five days to a whopping 42.9%. Elon Musk’s EV giant is having the run of its life right now, and having smashing Q2 delivery expectations, investors will be anxious to get their eyes on the company’s Q2 earnings report sometime in the next month.
